JESUS SENDS THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THE BELIEVERS (Acts 2.1-12)

On Sunday, all the believers were meeting together in one room. Suddenly there was a sound from heaven like a great wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Flames appeared over each of them and everyone was filled with the Holy Spirit. They started speaking in other languages as the Spirit gave them the words to say.
At this time, there were many people from all different countries who loved God and were now living in Jerusalem. They heard the noise and came running… surprised to hear their own native languages being spoken by the believers.
They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they asked.
“These people speaking are from Galilee, and yet somehow we hear them talking in our own native languages! We come from all
over… Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Greece, Egypt, Libya, and even Rome—and we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!”
They stood there in awe and amazed, wondering what God was up to.
“I saw a huge crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they worshiped Him together.”
